In a world full of noise, distractions, and ever-growing to-do lists, I found my peace in two unlikely digital allies: Notion and ChatGPT. Together, they’ve transformed how I structure my week—from mindless chaos to intentional clarity.
Each Sunday night, I sit down with a simple ritual. I open my Notion Weekly Dashboard, a custom template I built with AI prompts in mind. Then, I turn to ChatGPT. First, I ask it to help me reflect on the past week: “What are 3 questions I should ask myself to review last week productively?” With those questions in hand, I journal right into Notion. It’s not just digital planning; it’s mental decluttering.
Next, I use ChatGPT to sort priorities. I give it last week’s notes and tasks, then prompt it: “Which tasks are urgent, which are important, and which can be automated or removed?” It gives me a breakdown that saves me at least 30 minutes every week. I copy that into my planner, where I organize my week into three focus areas: Projects, Learning, and Life Admin.
Then comes my favorite part—automated goal setting. I write, “Help me create 3 realistic goals this week based on my current workload and priorities,” and paste in my upcoming calendar. The AI helps me be ambitious, but not delusional. It also generates affirmations and productivity quotes based on my goals, which I paste into my Notion header as motivation.
Finally, I build in time for learning. Whether it’s a new AI tool, a short course, or reading time, I ask ChatGPT to recommend a resource aligned with one of my goals. By integrating reflection, planning, and learning into one flow, my week becomes an intentional roadmap, not a reactive scramble.
This isn’t about tech for tech’s sake. It’s about reclaiming time, mental space, and clarity. If you’re overwhelmed, start with just one prompt in ChatGPT and a clean Notion page. That’s how I started. Now, it’s how I thrive.
